We start by talking with you about what you want your outdoor space to do and how you want it to feel. Then we walk the property together, assess the existing conditions, and discuss what options make sense given your goals, your site, and your budget. You will come away with a clear understanding of the path forward and an honest perspective on what your project involves. There’s no obligation attached to a consultation.

Is a consultation required before starting a project?

Yes. Our design and build process always begins with a consultation. This is how we make sure we understand what you want before we invest time in design work, and it’s how we ensure the project is a good fit from the start. We use an online intake survey to gather initial information before the consultation, so our first conversation is as productive as possible.

How do you keep clients informed during a project?

We provide regular updates through photos, written milestone summaries, and direct communication from your project lead. We set expectations on timing and communication frequency at the start of every project. If something changes, you hear about it from us before you notice it on-site. We’ve found that consistent, honest communication is the single biggest factor in whether clients feel great about the experience when it’s done.

What if my project needs to be adjusted after it starts?

Adjustments happen, and we handle them professionally. If scope changes are needed, we discuss them with you, explain the implications for timeline and cost, and get your approval before proceeding.
